Help Your Diabetes® (HYD) was founded to provide a natural, non-drug approach to helping people with metabolic and nutritional imbalances. Dr. Damian E. Rowe, DC graduated from Parker University in Dallas, Texas with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree as well as two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Human Anatomy, the other in Health and Wellness. He previously obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Dr. Rowe has nearly a decade of clinical experience as the principal physician in private practice helping people from all ages on their health journeys and has completed over 140 hours of post-doctoral education in pediatric care from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. After more than ten years of higher education and successfully completing five national board exams including an exam certifying him in Physiotherapy conducted by the accredited National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, he is board certified and licensed by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts as a Doctor of Chiropractic medicine.
Dr. Rowe is also certified in CPR, Basic Life Support, Oxygen Administration as well as holds a certification in Strength and Conditioning Instruction.
He has taught over 120 credit hours over the past several years at various local colleges including Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas in the disciplines of Pathophysiology, Anatomy & Physiology with comparative dissection, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Human Nutrition, Immunology, Virology, Microbiology, Parasitology and History of Medical Science as it pertains to infectious disease.
Most recently he has embarked on continuing education in the nutritionally oriented field of Functional Medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine. His dedication to nutritional health education has long been the foundation of both his academic and professional careers.
Dr. Rowe’s passion is to support people to take responsibility for their wellness – and to help them to move towards vibrant health – physically, chemically and mentally. When not tirelessly working with patients, he enjoys reveling in the company of his treasured family!
