Dr. J. Murray Hockings has been a wellness expert for 28 years and is known as the “World’s #1 Diabetes Reversal Doctor.” He is the Founder of Help Your Diabetes® in Dallas, Texas, with 17 locations around the U.S. . Dr. Hockings has seen over 25,000 patients in his career and is an internationally recognized expert in natural health. Dr. Hockings helps people with Type 2 Diabetes and Heart Disease conditions. Dr. Hockings is the Author of the books “Imagine Living Without Type 2 Diabetes” “Imagine Living Without Heart Disease” and “Send Your Doctor Packing”. He appeared on TV for 7 years, educating patients on how to become healthy without using medications or surgery.

He is also a member of the American Diabetes Association (ADA). Dr. Hockings has been married to his gorgeous wife, Traci, for 27 years and they have a beautiful 24-year-old daughter, Tiffani. He enjoys golfing, skiing, tennis, hiking, working out, martial arts, theater, and traveling with his family.

Jason Kouri

Jason Kouri, M.D.
Medical Director

Dr. Jason Kouri graduated magna cum laude from Univ. of California at Irvine in 1991 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biological Sciences.  He continued his graduate education at the School of Medicine at University of California, San Diego where he received his MD degree with honors in 1996.  Dr. Kouri entered the US Navy as a Family Practice intern and went on to become a General Medical Officer.  He spent most of his time in the Navy caring for Marines and Sailors on land and at sea while attached to a Marine Expeditionary Unit.  Upon honorable discharge, Dr. Kouri joined a Family Practice on an American Indian reservation for 5 years caring for Diabetics from several reservations in Southern California.  He then changed focus to Urgent Care, Occupational and Integrative Medicine in 2005.  Dr. Kouri  is currently the Medical Director of five clinics that help patients to reverse diabetes in the Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas areas and has used Dr Hockings’ Help Your Diabetes program to treat patients since 2014.  He is training in leadership and wellness in preparation for the challenges of an aging US population.  Dr. Kouri is married and has 5 boys.  He enjoys bicycling, soccer, hiking, and spending time with his awesome wife and boys.

Elliot Draluck

Dr. D. Elliot Draluck practiced for 19 years. He has previously owned 9 different healthcare centers. He is an expert in physical fitness, health, and nutrition. Dr. Draluck is not able to see Chiropractic patients because he is not licensed in the state of Texas. He has been personally trained by Dr. Hockings on how to deliver Dr. Hockings HYD program. He is the author of the book Diabetes Solutions and he has been with HYD for the past 6 years. He enjoys working out, cycling and traveling.

Traci Hockings has been an educator and health enthusiast for over twenty-five years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of California, has co-owned and run five natural healthcare centers, as well as other businesses with her husband of twenty-four years. Dr. Hockings is blessed to have her with him every step of their amazing journey together and he is grateful for her incredible work ethic and compassion in everything she does. Over the years, her passion for natural health education increased exponentially as she saw what helped clients most, which was teaching them the basic tenets of how their bodies worked and what they needed to do in order to get healthy and maintain health. She enjoys golfing, skiing, hiking, reading, theater, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Michelle Giudice

Michelle has been our COO since April 2013.  She coordinated and attended over 200 diabetes seminars on the road with Dr. Hockings in 5 countries and has been instrumental in handling complex operations in all areas of business growth. Michelle attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate degree, and went on to obtain her Master’s Degree in 2013 from FAU.  Michelle can be found running through airports and enjoys reading, jogging, and cheering for the Florida Gators.

Tiffani Joi Hockings has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Mentoring/Life Coaching. She has lived the wellness lifestyle along with her parents since her birth. Tiffani has helped in different areas of her parents’ businesses since she was 10 years old. Living with her health-aware parents, Dr. J. Murray and Traci Hockings, has given her a “front row seat” perspective on natural wellness and all of its benefits. She enjoys reading, acting, traveling, watching old movies, and spending time with her family and friends.

Originally from Boston, MA Bobby relocated to South Florida in 2010 for college on a golf scholarship. After college Bobby assisted in the daily management of Delray Honda, Florida’s #1 Honda dealership for many years. Bobby’s interest then took him to opening up the #1 Medicare Supplement brokerage for 6 years. Bobby’s leadership skills provided increased growth from 5 agents to 122.  In December, 2018 Bobby relocated to the HYD HQ in Dallas TX .  Bobby is excited to bring his Leadership Skills, along with his Sales and Management Career to result in a positive influence to the HYD Foundation.

Besides helping HYD expand to help Diabetics nationwide, Bobby enjoys spending time with his family, beautiful daughter, golfing and cheering on Boston sports.

Leo Frangipane (“Dr.Leo””) Is a Philadelphia native proud of his Italian heritage.
He is a Board Certified General and Cardiovascular surgeon who trained at Temple University School and Medicine and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania both in Philadelphia. He worked at Reading Hospital in Reading, Pennsylvania from 1978 until 2000 and later at Northside Hospital and Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta from 2000 until 2018 as Clinical Professor of Surgery at Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania.

His interests included transplantation surgery including research at the Wistar Institute of the University of Pennsylvania Medical School working on islet cell transplantation for type I diabetes. He has written multiple research paper on the subject and is quoted extensively in the diabetes literature to that end.

He started “SEEK” in 1987, a support group for terminally ill patients in his attempt to widen the scope of healing previously not available to those with those diseases.
He is the member of multiple local and national associations included the American College of Surgeons and the Association for Academic Surgeons.

Meagan is a Florida native, originally from Miami. She has a Bachelors degree in Biology from Barry University. During her studies a fire was lit inside her to study more on a natural preventative approach to common ailments and diseases that can be alleviated and better supported by lifestyle changes than any medication could offer. She further took courses on nutrition and personal training to help people move, look, and feel better. Kahana then earned a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2014 and is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Hawaii. Laurie is double board certified in Family Practice and Hospice and Palliative Care. She have been working as a skilled nursing facility medical director exclusively for the last 20 years.

Laurie graduated from University of Washington Medical School and completed residency at Group Health Cooperative in Seattle, Wa.

Laurie has an extensive background in nutrition and holistic medicine, graduating with a degree in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University and teaching on their faculty for 7 years.

She has been medical director and attending physician at Redmond Care and Rehabilitation, Emerald Hills Rehabilitation Center, Briarwood at Timber Ridge, Patriot’s Glen. I am currently working at Mission Healthcare-Bellevue and Mission Healthcare-Renton.

As medical director, Laurie directs and oversee the care of patients in skilled nursing facilities, care for long term care patients with chronic disabilities, medical conditions and dementia, and I work with hospice to provide end of life care.

Laurie works with local hospitals and outpatient physicians to provide continuity of care for patient’s admitted to our skilled nursing facilities.

She helps to provide an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care while patients are in our facilities. This includes coordination of care planning with our team of nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, pharmacy and lab services, as well as hospice and palliative care teams. We provide medical monitoring of many chronic and acute diseases including diabetes, heart disease and orthopedic surgery, to name a few.

Aaron has been a lifelong resident of the Northwest. Along with saving lives for Help Your Diabetes Aaron is an avid seeker of adventure and athletics. His adventure and hobby accomplishments include: completing 4,300 miles across the United States on a bicycle (Anacortes Washington to Bar Harbor Maine), Adventure Motorcycle riding, and triathlete. Hobbies include reading and seeking all types of wisdom and knowledge, volunteering, mountaineering, skiing and travel to far off lands. Aaron looks forward to meeting with you at the Kirkland office soon.
